There are five different starter kits available the community, time tracker, report, portal and commerce kits. The kits use sold, but basic code that can be changed again and again to create new web sites. All of the code is easily customized.

The kits all come with complete source code, your choice of Microsoft Data Engine or SQL server for data storage and have several different versions, including J#, C# and Basic.
An example of one of the starter kits is the commerce starter kit. This kit produces a fictitious spy store and contains codes for a three tier architecture form, forms authentication, shopping cart and caching. You can also use the B2B component.
The reports kit contains eight different types of applications and the time tracker kit will provide you with time and billing applications.
