Taking these steps will leave you with a better foundation than 99% of the websites out there. It really doesn’t take that much time. I just became a reseller with makemoneysellingdomainnames to resell web hosting and domain names. I joined because I build a decent amount of websites for my own use. I was wondering why a lot of webmasters and IT people aren’t in the reseller business. I drive a taxi and talk with a lot of IT people and almost none of them take advantage of controlling the cost for web hosting. Isn’t this strange? Any comments welcome.


I need a Web Host that provides good telephone customer service by people who actually know what they’re talking about when it comes to SQL, htaccess files and the like. My current provider has reasonable basic customer service for everyday users but they are worse than useless when it comes to more complicated problems. They literally will not let me (or any customer) talk directly with the few people (their off-limit "techs") who know anything about these topics.

I know there are many reviews of Web hosts online, but the problem is there are so many that I don’t know who to trust or where to begin looking for a new host.

Price is not a huge option with me, since I’m at the point where I would gladly pay double my current hosting fee just to know my site was "in the hands" of people who were willing (and knew how) to help me when problems arise.

I’ve actually looked it up on the net and saw some people recommend Hostmonster.com Have you had experienced with this? Because I’m a little skeptical that perhaps the reviews are just one of its marketing tactic or something.. I’m really in need for a reliable info abt this.
